Shark Till We Bark: (10) Tennessee Takes Down (24) South Carolina, Moves to 8-0

Don't be fooled, folks. This game was not as close as the score indicates. But at the end of the day, a win is a win. And the Gus Duggerton-led Tennessee Volunteers are now 8-0 after a 48-36 win vs. South Carolina in Knoxville this afternoon with major thanks to his favorite play, the HB Shark Wheel route.

However, the Volunteers took their foot off the gas pedal a bit during the second half, as Coach Duggs had his mind on a fat, juicy, burger.

Attaining the burger milestone is the lifestyle and goal Coach Duggs sets out for each and every game. You certainly would hate to see it cost the Vols a game one of these days.

But let's focus on the positives for now. The Caleb Pressley - Pua Stubbs connection was on fire in the first half, including a pair of touchdowns.

And once again, RB JoJo Smalls put on a show. The tailback even set an NCAA record that, before today, held strong for nearly 30 years.

So, another test passed for Coach Duggs and company. But if South Carolina was an easy test, Tennessee better be prepared for what's next:

The Alabama Crimson Tide.

It's another day off for Coach Duggs tomorrow, and then Sunday night at 9 PM ET, America's Coach takes on Nick Saban's crew to try and keep the undefeated season alive.
