Tom Confirms Blink 182 Will One Day Reunite When The Timing Is Right For Everyone!

Alt Press - Tom DeLonge says a reunion with blink-182 is just a matter of timing and he still frequently speaks with members Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.

In an interview with Rolling Stone where they extensively discussed the UFO videos unearthed by To the Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences, the former blink-182 member also discussed a recent sentimental post about the band and what it meant for a potential reunion.

He continues by saying a blink-182 reunion is inevitable but at the moment, Angels & Airwaves is “on a roll” and To The Stars Academy is having a massive moment right now.

“Everyone wants to know, “Are you guys gonna play again?” Yeah, of course we are. We just gotta figure out the timing, how it works for everybody,” he says. “We’re getting ready to put out the best record we’ve ever made. So I’m really busy with that. I’ve got multiple film projects. As you know To The Stars Academy is just booming, so I have all these priorities I’m responsible for, and I can’t just stop and go do a blink 182 tour because it sounds fun. It’s a big thing.”

We did it! I'm not sure exactly what we did, but it feels like we did it! Tom has officially, on the record, confirmed that he will play with blink 182 again. It won't be today, it won't be tomorrow, but in our lifetimes (knock on wood) we will see a blink 182 reunion. And I could not be more thrilled, obviously. Blink isn't Blink without Tom. He's the voice. He's the rock star. He's the stir that straws the drink.

It makes sense too. They've been flirting heavy in each other's IGs for a while now

And as I wrote in that blog, they are your classic star-crossed lovers. They had to break up in order to get back together.

This is a classic high school love story. They fell in love young. They had an incredible first run. They separated. Tried new things. Experimented with new people. But then tragedy brought them back together. They had another run. But it was too soon. They loved each other, but weren't in love. So they went their separate ways again.

They are destined to do this together. The ultimate on again off again love story/band story of our generation. They'll be back together again for a new album and tour when the time is right. Patience, patience, patience.

Oh and how wild will it be when Tom sings "Aliens Exist" after he literally proved aliens in fact exist. He is in history books as the man who quite literally got documented proof for finding the existence of aliens. And he's also going to go on tour and sing a song that goes like this

It'd be like if Christopher Columbus was also the lead singer of Sum 41. What a world we live in, folks.
