With my favorite New Jersey band - Bon Jovi - all over the news today, I thought it'd be a great time to share this performance of Jon and Richie Sambora doing a little bit of 'Livin' On A Prayer' and then ripping into 'Wanted Dead Or Alive' from the 1989 VMAs! 

What's so special about this performance, though, you ask? 

Well - aside from Sambora playing the everliving fuck outta that twelve string - it's long been said that this specific moment served as the inspiration for the series we now know as MTV Unplugged! How about that?! Enjoy.
