Kyle Mooney Is A National Treasure And Don't You Damn Forget It

So earlier today Jordie had put up a bunch of videos as part of a blog to help remind us of the simpler times, the first of which was Kyle Mooney's 'Sporty.' It was one of those internet videos that I completely forgot existed. Kind of like the Unforgivable series. To be completely honest, I wouldn't have clicked on the blog if Mooney's picture wasn't the thumbnail. I've always said that he is easily the most underrated SNL cast member of his generation. Just a wildly hilarious guy. It's not even one of those things where you're like "his old stuff was way better" because the new stuff is just as good. But for the sake of this blog we're going to take a trip down memory lane starting with my favorite one of his characters, 'Chris.'

Even the SNL is stuff gold. Before I started working at Barstool I made a shot for shot remake of his Kanye Rap Battle video as a way to get Dave's attention. Thank God I never turned that in. So why am I telling you this? Partially because I've been in a Kyle Mooney k-hole for the past two hours and partially because I wanted to remind you that he is a national treasure. A truly funny, original person which is rare for the internet these day. We had Kerryn Feehan on Breakfast this morning and the same can be said for her. That's the end of this blog.
