Andruw Jones's Son Drops BOMBS and Already Looks Like a First Round Pick

Last week I blogged about Freddie Freeman's 3-year-old son's swing and how he could choose not to play baseball if he wanted, but he could not play baseball and be bad at it. And that theory is only further proven true by watching Andruw Jones's son absolutely shit on baseballs. This kid was born with the ability to see a round ball and whack it with a stick way better than everyone else.

Druw Jones is 16 and is already committed to Vanderbilt. He has put up some absolutely ridiculous stats throughout his amateur career, including a 1.306 OPS in 120 tournaments tracked by Perfect Game.

I feel bad for the pitchers that have to face that kind of talent for two more seasons in high school and travel ball, but I'm thankful it will produce more videos like this one for us to enjoy.

And I hate that he wants to play at Vandy, but I hope the Braves make the right choice and snatch this kid up out of high school and don't let him get away. Andruw Jones Jr. absolutely cannot be allowed to play for any other Major League franchise. Just look at this kid swing a baseball bat.

And all this doesn't even mention the Major League-ready bat flip. This kid already has all the tools on the field and the swag to boot. I can't wait to watch Druw Jones in an Atlanta Braves uniform. It will be the most anticipated debut in Atlanta history.
