My Wish: Dustin Pedroia
ESPN - 12-year-old Jace Andrews, who barely survived the first few days of his life, takes on the Green Monster with the help of his favorite baseball player, Dustin Pedroia.
The best part of this was how Jace kept chirping Pedroia about have warning track power. I feel like that’s something that only happens to him. Every other Make A Wish kid is just in awe of meeting their celebrity. This kid is just bringing it to Dustin. Gives him a Wheaties box so he’ll be able to get it over the Monster. And he kept saying it over and over too. It’s probably why Jace likes him. If you’re gonna pick a player you can bust balls with Pedroia has to be at the top of the list.
