This 5th Grader Is A Better Shooter Than You'll Ever Be In Your Entire Life

Don't you even try and lie, you are impressed watching that video. How could you not be? This little dude is out here looking like a long lost Splash Child and frankly he's a better shooter in the 5th grade than pretty much all of us will ever be in our lives. He's not even considering touching the rim, he's got the between the legs stepback already which is even more impressive. You know how many hands this kid is going to hold at recess now that he's going viral? Tons. This is why the internet is awesome in my opinion. I guarantee this kid is going to make varsity as an 8th grader or some shit if he's already this money from deep. I would say college coaches are foaming at the mouth but he's young enough where with a jumper like that he's not going to need to take the bag from Coach K. With the rule changes coming into play soon, this has straight to the NBA written all over it based solely off a 1 minute clip.

If we're being honest, I wouldn't hate immediately signing this kid to the end of the Celts bench for the stretch run and playoffs. They desperately need bench shooting, especially from deep, and I already trust him way more than pretty much every option currently on the roster. Shit, a ton of contenders could probably use this skillset. If you're the Lakers are you going to risk bringing in Dion Waiter or JR Smith who could ruin your chemistry or this kid who will just be happy to be there and probably shoot 46% from deep? Exactly.
