aaaaaand the Flames score once again to make it 3-1.

But guess who answered one again? Patrice Bergeron. 3-2 Flames.

News, notes and quotes:

- The first period of this game was just straight up drunk. The Flames scored 20 seconds into the game, then again at 2:34. Patrice Bergeron would score at 2:58 to cut the lead in half… and then 40 seconds later the Flames scored…. and then Bergeron scored again. Charlie Coyle breakaway goal would even the score after 1. Wild first period.

- 5 straight games with a goal for Patrice Bergeron, 7 goals in his last 7 games. Two early 1st period goals puts him at 29 on the season. Remember when a certain beat writer said Father Time was creeping up on him? haaaaaaaaaa

- Matt Grzelcyk was called for "elbowing" on this clean open ice hit…

- This is the best stretch of games I've seen Charlie Coyle play in a Boston Bruins uniform. Ever since the break he's been on fire. Possession monster and now the offense is starting to come.

- Jeremy Lauzon continues to impress each and every game. Was a monster on the PK early in the 3rd. Big shot blocks. Fought Tkachuk. He's giving Bruce Cassidy ever reason to keep him in the lineup.

- Tough 1st period for Jaro Halak allowing a goal 20 seconds in. Thought he bounced back though. 18 saves on 21 shots.

For those keeping track at home the B's have won 5 in a row, 11 of their last 12 and are absolutely buzzing. Back at it tomorrow night in Vancouver.

Oh, and ICYMI, Ondrej Kase is a Boston Bruin.

It was a great night to win a hockey game.
