Mets Outfielder And Baseball Hero JD Davis Said He Is Ashamed That He Was Part Of The Astros Cheating Scandal

That is JD Davis and the D stands for hero! All I heard yesterday was people bellyaching about how none of the Astros players showed any remorse for what they did back in 2017. Well here is JD Davis Davis Double Davis standing up and not only being more accountable for his actions than anybody still on the team that shipped him out to MLB's elephant graveyard for a bag of balls but also for clarifying his remarks about not being involved in the scandal back in December when his new manager just so happened to be the alleged ringleader in Houston. Bravery in its truest form.

Now unless Major League Baseball is going to give the Mets the $5 million and 4 draft picks the Astros were penalized for cheating since the Mets have been trying to do right for all of Houston's wrongs, can they please SHUT THE FUCK UP about this scandal? Because somehow they've lumped themselves in as the third team people associate with this scandal along with two teams that won a championship with managers that actually knew about it. I've explained this phenomenon using a very timely meme.

I can live with losing an unproven manager before the season even started because it almost seems like the Mets were destined to have some stupid shit like that happen sooner or later in their history. But I am now terrified of seeing one of those dumbass @Mets Twitter Photoshops saying they released a 26-year-old that hit for a .307 average with 22 bombs in 410 at bats because of some shit he did for another team years ago while keeping Jake Marisnick who will likely be battling the Mendoza Line for most of the season.
