The NFL Awarded Eric Fisher With The Celly Of The Week For Stone Colding Beers Vs. The Texans Then Fined Eric Fisher $14K For Stone Colding Beers Vs. The Texans

This has to be the most Goodell story ever, right? The NFL gets an awesome viral moment that just so happens to involve a sponsor, celebrates it on social media with because it was great, then quietly takes money out of a player's pocket once the hype dies down. No Fun League on a hundred, thousand, trillion.

Thankfully the Chiefs and my generous, wonderful friends at Anheuser-Busch (#BudLightBusters champion here nbd) for not only giving the fans that lost their beers an Eric Fisher meet & greet with an autographed game used jersey but also supplying him with what is about a fair retribution of the nightmare of losing your last two beers during a playoff game after I imagine all the beer sales were shut down for the rest of the game.

I know the NFL rule book says you have to fine a player if they celebrate using a prop. However, some sort of common sense clause should overrule it if it has a 100% approval rating and/or a goddamn legend of mankind tweets out the celly.

And that's the bottom line cuz Stone Cold said so.

Now buy a shirt Chiefs fans.
