Is This Doug Marrone's Last Game Coaching The Jags? - Colts Vs Jags Pregame Blog

IT'S GAMEDAY! We got a 4:25pm special as the Boys In Blue take on the Jags. The last time these two played, the Colts smacked the Jags 33-13 as they were fighting for the #1 spot in the AFC South. Today, this game doesn't mean shit to anyone besides Doug Marrone who might be fired after the game.

All I want to see is Gardner Minshew vs Chad Kelly! That's it! Neither of these teams are going to the playoffs, so why not? Talk about America's Game of the Week. Unfortunately, Jacoby is playing today and he's going to lead us to a victory. Here are the keys to beating the Jags and ending the season 8-8.

Run The Damn Ball Again

When these guys played week 11, the Colts had Marlon Mack and Jonathan Williams each rush for over 100 yards. The Jags are ranked 28th in rushing yards allowed and don't seem to have improved the 2nd half of the season. T.Y. is also active today as he was injured in week 11. The Colts offense may have a field day with almost all of their weapons active.

Stop Fournette

In week 11, the Colts held Fournette to just 23 yards. Absolutely controlled the trenches. Stopping Fournette will lead to Nick Foles having to throw all game which will lead to Darius Leonard making some amazing plays.

Make Field Goals

It wouldn't be a pregame blog if I didn't mention we need to make our field goals. If we make them, they give us a few extra points that could benefit us later in the game. Chase McLaughlin had a perfect day last week by hitting 5/5 on Extra Point Attempts and is continuing to prove he may be our kicker for next season.

Prediction:

The Colts know how to dominate in meaningless games. It's a fact. The Colts are going to make Jacksonville a home game and finish the season 8-8. The Jeff Fisher way. I'm going Colts 31 - Jags 10. As always, Go Horse.
