Jared Dudley Will Never Pass Up A Good "Hold Me Back" NBA Fight That Is A Promise

Jared Dudley has been in the NBA since 2007, and while he may no longer be the on court producer that he once was during his PHX days, one thing is pretty clear. Jared Dudley wants all the smoke, and by smoke I mean make sure he's involved in your typical NBA Hold Me Back fight. This dude LOVES them, and you know what? There is always going to be a spot on a roster for a guy who is willing to stick up for his teammates even though we know nothing is going to happen. Take last night in Orlando for example. A little shoving with Dwight and some Magic players, no big deal, both sides were a little chippy. Well here comes Dudley from the clouds

ready to take on the entire team. Say what you want but there was no way Dudley was going to miss a prime opportunity for a "HOOOOLLLDDDD MEEEEE BAAAACCKKKK" moment. This is what his role is. You can't have LeBron or AD or Dwight get into it, they are too important. So unleash Dudley and let him handle things because as we know he has some experience in this matter. Remember this?

Sure that one sort of backfired on him since Ben Simmons came out and dominated the rest of that series and the Nets lost, but I can't hate on a guy with this sort of ride or die mentality. He doesn't have to worry about running his mouth and then not backing it up because maybe you've noticed the Lakers are 22-3. There is a very small chance he's going to look foolish when doing things like this over the course of this season. By now you shouldn't be surprised with these actions, this is what you should expect from Jared Dudley because we also can't forget what he did in UTA as well

It's clear that this is a man you want next to you in your foxhole. His game may be a little washed at this point but who cares. It didn't really make sense why the Lakers brought Dudley in over the summer, but maybe this is a look into why LeBron made that move. Every team needs a guy who is willing to use his 6 fouls and do stuff like this, his teammates I'm sure love it and honestly Dudley probably just bought himself at least 1 more year in the NBA. Everyone needs an "enforcer" even if it's just going to be your typical soft NBA screaming match.

Plus he's a BC guy and I LOVED watching those teams with Stevie Hailey, Craig Smith and Sean Williams back in the early-ish 2000s. Those were the days when BC was actually good, so perhaps I'm a little biased.
