Everyone thought we were dead but here we are after a huge win over the Lions last week and we’re back in the hunt. Mitch looked like a real NFL QB after I called him out and now the switch has been flipped. The Bears Super Bowl dreams are alive and well.
To keep the momentum going we head to LA to face the Rams on Sunday Night Football. I feel bad for Jared Goff because Mack is a different animal in front of a National audience. There is no reason to believe Mack won’t have at least 3 sacks and a forced fumble or two. I expect the Bears D to get into the endzone at least one time as well. The league had their chance to put us away but they couldn’t do it and now they are going to pay.
I realize the the Rams have a pretty good defense. However, I think Mitch’s confidence is at an all time high after torching the Lions and the Bears organization showing their faith by not bothering with the Colin Kaepernick tryout. Add that to this defense and Ryan Nall and you have the most dangerous team in football.
Now just continue to study the ways of the ’85 Bears and implement that in to how we play football. When the opposing team wakes up in the morning they should know they played the Chicago Bears.
Bear Weather Report:
Wind NNE 1 mph
Terrible football weather but like I’ve said a million times before, Bear Weather is more than cold and snow, it’s an attitude.
You Bet Your Ass:
This line is such an insult. The Bears shut down the Rams last season and they will do it again today. I don’t see a lot of offense in this one though so I would take the Bears with the points and the under. I’m willing to bet your house on this.
Coming Up Next Week: The Giants come to Soldiers Field where we will get our revenge from last season’s bullshit loss.
