I honestly think I’d be pissed off if I was a St. John’s fan reading this. Your AD has to make a major hire after the Chris Mullin experience didn’t work out. You have a chance to be the city team and dominate the New York market. You have a chance to compete in the Big East.

You hire Mike Anderson. Fine. He’s a decent coach that maybe just needs some new scenery? I mean he was an assistant at Arkansas under Nolan Richardson, won a title there in 1994 and was a head coach there since 2011. Sometimes that needs to happen. But remember some of the reactions after hiring him?

Not exactly a ton of confidence here. And now your AD makes a quote saying he talked to K, got an endorsement about Mike Anderson and wouldn’t talk to anyone else? Uh, no offense but what does K know about hiring head coaches. The dude is a head coach. What does he know about hiring someone at St. John’s? Feel like MAYBE, just maybe you should ask someone else.
