– Steven Kampfer slotted into the lineup for the first time this season in favor for Connor Clifton. Bruce Cassidy before the game told the media that “[Kampfer’s] been working hard, we’ll get him in a game and see how it goes. Cliffy’s played well, but a message that nothing is guaranteed.”

– Death, taxes, David Pastrnak scoring when he wears a fire suit. 4 goals for Pastrnak tonight who powered the Bruins to their 2nd straight win. His 1st career four goal game. Look good, play good, feel good.

– Sloppy 2nd period, too many undisciplined plays and eventually the Ducks broke through off a soft goal from Rickard Rickell.

– Sick tripping call on David Pastrnak on the 2nd. Get your eyes checked stripes.

– David Krejci left the game in the 2nd and did not return. He got injured in the first but came out in the 2nd, but couldn’t finish the game. Will update when Bruce Cassidy tells the media what’s going on.

– Jaro Halak played well, a few hiccups on the 2 Ducks goals but he saved the Bruins’ ass over and over again. B’s gave up way too many odd man rushes. He’s gonna want those goals back but good for Halak to get back in the win column.

– Not a perfect game by any means, second periods are still hampering the Bruins and giving any team 4 power plays isn’t great, but the Bruins continue to roll.
