It's Hard To Take The NFL Seriously About Player Safety While Vontaze Burfict Is Allowed To Play

It’s impossible to believe the NFL cares about player safety when Vontaze Burfict is not only allowed to play, but is a TEAM CAPTAIN for the Oakland Raiders. I’m sure he’s a great teammate. In a different era these kind of plays would have been celebrated, they still would have been dirty as fuck but it was widely accepted. Now? This isn’t a hard hit. This isn’t hard nosed football. This is an attempted decapitation on a play that required two hands to be placed on a defenseless, already down receiver.
