Nick Young Might Be Our Generation's The Next Great Basketball Mind

So there is a lot of buzz right now about Melo Ball being #actuallygood and a real high lottery draft prospect

Not exactly shocking as he’s shown some great things so far in the NBL

So what does this have to do with Nick Young? Well, while he may not be on an NBA team at the moment which is too bad, it does look like maybe Swaggy P is a real life basketball prophet

Part 1 of Swaggy P’s plan is complete. The second part? Well something tells me having a billion picks at their disposal might make the second part of his plan a reality. Look, the Pelicans are going to be fun as hell to watch, but they are also an extremely young team that plays in a brutal conference. Would it shock anyone if they once again ended up with a high lottery pick? Maybe top 5ish and then they can package multiple picks to bring in LaMelo and suddenly they have both Ball brothers and become the best fast break team since the Showtime Lakers.

If I’m an NBA team I can understand not wanting Nick Young around when it comes to my actual basketball roster, but listen so far his plan to rebuild the Pelicans looks pretty damn flawless and it does seem like he has an eye for talent. It’s only a matter of time before a franchise realizes he is a legit prophet and brings him in to run their front office. Nick Young as a player was wildly entertaining, now imagine GM Swaggy P. I feel like we deserve to see what that looks like.
