The Leaked New Court Designs For Next Season Are Absolutely Fantastic

The internet is truly a fantastic place. As you’ve probably seen, more and more NBA teams are starting to announce their plans for some new awesome throwback jerseys for next season.

Well thanks to reddit user u/smugleaf_raptors2012 we now know all the different court combinations for 2019-20 and let me tell you, there are some new ones for next year that are absolute doozies. You can look at the full list here, but below are some of my favorites that all have a common theme.

Holy nostalgia batman. The Raptors/Jazz/Grizzlies courts are perfect. We’ve seen the Hornets one since 2018 but it’s too awesome to not include. Teams like TOR/MEM/UTA/CHA all rocking their throwback jerseys while on these throwback courts is such a great idea I’m at the point where I need every NBA team to get on board with this. Give me throwback jerseys/courts for teams like the Rockets, Hawks, Magic, Wizards etc. It never disappoints and makes almost too much sense. I bet by the 2020-21 season we see this for basically every team in the league. There’s too much money to be made with fans buying retro jerseys with today’s players.

As we inch closer and closer to the start of next season, leaks like these have me more and more excited. At this point I’ll take anything given that it’s late August, and seeing as how I’m a sucker for this sort of thing it certainly does the trick.
