The Jazz Bringing Back The Mountain Throwbacks Is A Fantastic Decision

Karl Malone and John Stockton Game Portrait

This may be my favorite trend going in the NBA right now. More and more teams are realizing that it’s about time to start bringing back the absolute fire from the 90s and it may just be the biggest no brainer of all time. Last year we saw teams like ORL, PHX, MIN and CHA get in on the action, as well as the Jazz who brought these bad boys back

While those are fire, the Jazz clearly aren’t done because there are reports for this upcoming season they are bringing back the mountain look

Man what a blast from the past these bad boys are. I feel like last year was a good start, but the mountain version is what I remember most when I think of the Jazz of the 1990s and Stockton/Malone. It makes sense too, since the Jazz are being so hyped up this offseason as a legit Finals contender the only logical choice is to bring back the same look from the last time they were talked about like this. Yeah, maybe this will trigger some Jazz fans who may have finally gotten over those back to back Finals losses, but there’s no arguing that while rocking this look this team saw the most success in franchise history.

Hopefully this is just the beginning for what we see in 2019. The Grizzlies already came out and said they are bringing back their fire throwbacks, so here’s who I haven’t seen yet that I need to make a similar choice for this upcoming season

5. Detroit Pistons

4. Oklahoma City (Sonics jersey)

3. Milwaukee Bucks

2. Atlanta Hawks

1. Denver Nuggets
