Offensive Pass Interference or Defensive Pass Interference - You Make The Call!

Ok time for a new game called “Offensive Pass Interference or Defensive Pass Interference – You Make The Call!”. The way it works is you watch the above video on loop, which was called offensive pass interference on the field, and then decide if it should stay that way or be reversed. Basically you get to be a ref. You see, the challenge system was set up because sometimes in real time, a ref can miss a call. It happens, they are human and the game moves fast. So thankfully they have instant replay to make sure the call ends up correctly. So what do you think? OPI or DPI? Lock in your answers now.

And the answer issssssssss

OPI stands!!!!

That’s right folks, a professional NFL referee with large biceps looked at that play and said “yep, the player facing the ball trying to make the catch interfered with the defender who wasn’t even looking at the ball or trying to make a play”. Wild.

Again, what is the point of this new replay system if the refs have too big/fragile of an ego to change the call on the field? This was supposed to fix the Rams/Saints game issue, but it most certainly will not. I mean, we know NFL refs in general are trash, so they gave them a resource to be less trash, and the refs decided to stick with the trash status quo. Gonna be a long, longgggg season my friends.
