Zach Smith Is The Bitter Ex Who Just Won't Stop Talking

Alexa, play “Let It Go” from Frozen.

Last night, former Ohio State coach (and certified crazy person) Zach Smith announced that he will be launching a new podcast called “Menace2Society” where he’s going to give his side of the story surrounding the domestic violence allegations involving his ex wife.

It’s honestly been so long since the Zach Smith blow up that I kinda forgot about it. Story is pretty dead tbh. But clearly, he has not moved on from it and is launching a #WatchYourMouthSZN tell-all where, and I quote, “nobody is safe.”

We all know hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. And apparently, hell hath no fury like a guy who pretty much everybody thinks is a bad dude but somehow still feels like he was wronged.

Call me crazy, but threatening to air everybody the fuck out while simultaneously posting motivational quotes on Twitter is a tad counterproductive if you want to get hired again. It doesn’t seem like a stable move to make. Never mind the fact that the actual name of the podcast with a garbage 1998 mix-tape logo doesn’t scream “I just want to prove my innocence!” In fact, this entire thing that screams “I’m still a complete asshole!”

Maybe I’m just jaded. But there’s just a 0.0% chance this is going anybody’s mind on Zach Smith. If people believe he’s a bad guy who beat his wife, going def con on everybody else isn’t going to fix that. Just like a girl slashing her ex’s tires isn’t going to make him fall back in love with her crazy ass just because she explained it was out of love and jealousy.

I mean what could this guy possibly have to say at this point?? His reputation un-savable. It’d even be tough for Urban Meyer to spin this one after his own involvement in this situation which definitely didn’t spiral into him stepping down at Ohio State. Definitely not because he helped cover up domestic violence.

Thank GOD for those coincidental headaches, right?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty intrigued with the potential drama this is going to create. Then again, I still love Jersey Shore. Maybe it’s a character flaw of mine. But as a society, we love drama – for better or worse. And folks, I have a feeling this is going to be an absolute clown show just like his attempt to shame Tom Herman.

Here for it. By the way, if I was connected to Ohio State in any form or fashion, I’d be terrified.
