Joe Rogan Says McGregor/Cowboy May Not Happen Now Because The UFC Wanted It To Be A Co-Main Event

This is kinda super weird and I don’t wanna say that I don’t believe it, because it’s coming from Joe Rogan, who seems like he knows a thing or two about a thing or two, but I just don’t believe it.

I refuse to believe the UFC is dumb enough to tell Conor fucking McGregor that he’s going to have to compete in a co-main event in the year of our lord 2019, with their reasoning being that every card has to have a championship in their main event, just a couple years after McGregor vs Diaz II headlined UFC 202 with nothing on the line. I refuse to believe it. Conor McGregor is coming off headlining the biggest mixed martial arts event of all time and you’re gonna tell him he’s no longer a headliner? You’re expecting anybody on the planet to keep watching your pay-per-view after Conor fucking McGregor fights? C’mon, man.

I think Rogan might just have his facts wrong here, respectfully.

P.S. Post-SuperBowl Dave voice Brendan Schaub saying “Anyone who recommended Conor/Cowboy should be a co-main event should get their mouths pissed in” is one of the funniest things I’ve heard all year. God bless that dude.
