Ben Simmons Talks A Gang Of Shit To Jusuf Nurkic. Better Ideas Have Been Had

No one has done a better job of pissing off NBA players this year than Jusuf Nurkic. Earlier this year he and Russell Westbrook had multiple run ins during the same game and today he has turned his attention towards none other than Ben Simmons. And after a bricked free throw, Simmons found his breaking point. I can respect Simmons trying to stand his ground and stick up for himself here, but this is the wrong one to try. Nurkic is a role player, he plays his role well, and again – he was recruited to play basketball off of the strength of how notorious his father is for beating other people’s asses. Jusuf Nurkic is genetically engineered to be large and to smash people into oblivion. So again, I respect Simmons for sticking up for himself. He’s a 6’10” Aussie, against 99% of people who have ever lived that is enough to hold your own. Nurkic just happens to be that 1%. Tread lightly.

PS – I’d lose my shit if Nurkic told him “Shoot a 3, coward.” I think Simmons would be forced into retirement.
