Coley Mick Can Eat My Shorts (ESPN Can Help Him Too)

So this was the tweet last night that caused a friend of mine who goes by Coley Mick to write this:

Hey, Coley. Eat my shorts. Eat Clem’s shorts too!

I don’t care whose idea it was to put out this tweet, but it’s a good one. We’re starting to plant the idea that this is going to happen. And that’s why ESPN can help Coley eat my shorts. I have enough hype in my big, stupid head that the Knicks are actually going to do this. I don’t need ESPN’s help here.

Now, this is what I crave though. I said yesterday I need a frozen envelope type conspiracy theory if (when) the Knicks get the No. 1 pick.

If this comes from ESPN tampering on behalf of the Knicks so be it. I need something to get people all riled up. It happened with Ewing and I sure hope it happens with Zion. Now if that turns Zion into Anthony Davis, even better. You will not see me complaining about a trio of Kyrie/Durant/Anthony Davis in the Garden. I’d even contemplate moving to New York just for it.

This is just another development in me getting my hopes up, so be it. But, I mean, come on:

Now, if the Knicks actually pull this off? It would go down as one of the greatest stories in sports. They essentially fucked up the entire time to get to this point. Everything from not losing correctly like the Sixers. But, drafting guys like Knox/Trier/Robinson who actually look the part. Trading Kristaps for cap space. It would be one epic failure of success.
