Scott Van Pelt's Tribute to Tyler Trent Last Night Was Perfect

Last night we all got the horrible news that Tyler Trent had passed away after his battle with cancer. Jack Mack blogged it here but I wanted to touch on the awesome tribute SVP gave on the midnight edition of SportsCenter. ESPN is such a shitty version of itself these days, but the lone bright star will always be SVP. When I watch his show I kind of forget I’m watching ESPN because of stuff like this. You can feel the emotion in his voice at the very end as he leaves the desk and the studio set dims its lights. He’s such a genuine down to Earth dude and you know he was crushed to hear Tyler’s passing as we all were. Well done SVP, you can do no wrong.
