The Jacksonville Jaguars Owe It To Blake Bortles To Release Him So He Can Sign With A Super Bowl Contender

Well we all saw this coming. When the ball dosen’t bounce your way over the course of the first 10 weeks of football people are going to demand a pound of flesh and someone to blame. Well they found there scapeboat in Blake as the Jags announced there going to be naming something called a “Cody Kessler” their starter.

And thats fine its a business I get that. But the Jags shoud do the right thing and grant him his release so hes free to sign with a Superbowl contender and get a ring. What Blake has done for that franchise has earned him that at least. Name one other guy whose beaten Big Ben twice and a half in less then a year. Name one guy who basicaly beat Tom Brady in Foxboro in the AFC championship game in his own stadium. I’ll wait.

Right now Blake would be a immedate upgrade at playoff hopefull teams like Chicago with Mitch’s status being questonable, Dallas, Seattle (woudnt be tempted as much to pass from the 2 yd line), Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Washington, pretty much every team besides the Rams, Chiefs, Pats, and Ravens as long as they get Flacco back.

The Jags are a classy orgnization, Tom Coughlins a classy man. If your not willing to committ to Blake as a long-term answer at least do the right thing and let him land in a spot where he can bring home a ring. They owe it to him in a big big way. Or move him to runninback people forget he’s statisticaly the best running QB in NFL history.
