THR- The Agoura Hills home has served as the backdrop for ABC’s ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’ since 2007. The mansion used on ABC’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette is burning amid the California wildfires. The Agoura Hills home is located in an active area in the path of the fast-moving Woolsey wildfire. The back patio is burning and the flames are moving towards the house, sources told The Hollywood Reporter on Friday afternoon. The lower house, which is often used as production headquarters, has been destroyed. Franchise creator Mike Fleiss and ABC reality chief Rob Mills had taken to Twitter earlier in the day to say that the house was in “grave danger” as the wildfires forced evacuations in Malibu. The Woolsey wildfire has grown to over 14,000 acres since it started yesterday, forcing evacuations of many in Hollywood and impacting filming locations across the devastated communities.

Well damn. That sucks. The California wildfires are obviously super scary and are causing tens of thousands of people to evacuate their homes and it sounds like The Bachelor mansion is one of the houses caught in the fire’s destructive path. Big time bummer. Not only is that the site of the best reality show ever but it’s also the actual home to the family that lives there so that really sucks. The Bachelor mansion has been the backdrop of some crazyyyyyyyyyy shit over the years and it’s sad that it’s burning to the ground as we speak. There’s honestly too many crazy moments to list. We’ve watched countless people get drunk on the first night, jump in the pool without clothes and make absolute fools of themselves on national television. Now I know The Bachelor/The Bachelorette mansion isn’t the biggest thing on people’s minds as thousands are fleeing the area but that house is the only one I have a connection with. Every house that burns down in the California wildfires is a tragedy. That’s a given. So I guess this is goodbye to the The Bachelor mansion. You were great.
