Alright, you’re so close. A brutal Monday is almost in the rear view mirror and I’m here to help you get over the hump. Everyone knows Mondays are the worst so I commend you on sticking it out and making it this far. That’s why for today’s time waster I wanted to share a video I came across a little while ago that I found extremely interesting. For what I feel like was the first time, around this time last year both Dirk and Porzingis sat down for a little one on one. Now I found this cool because both are rightfully considered Unicorns in this sport. You just shouldn’t be able to do what both of these guys have done at their size on the basketball court.

When Dirk came into the league, it took him about a year to become the Dirk we know and love now. We had seen athletic freaks at his position like KG before, but Dirk was something different. Around his third year in the league at 22 is when in my opinion he entered that star status, and from then on we never really got anything close to what he was as a player, especially from Europe. Enter Porzingis. Just like Dirk he was killed for getting Drafted where he did. Just like Dirk he had a decent rookie year but really became the Unicorn we know now in his second season, and just like Dirk made that jump to star level talent in Year 3 at age 22. Unfortunately he ended up getting hurt but don’t let that distract you. Porzingis is the closest thing we’ve gotten to Dirk in nearly 20 years so it was cool to see them connect, I think you’ll really enjoy this even if you aren’t a Dallas or Knicks fan.

So sit back, hit play, and let this carry you over the finish line. You can ignore those last few emails until the morning, you’ve earned this

Good job getting through the day everybody, I’ll see you all again tomorrow afternoon.
