65.1% Of Brazillians Say Women Dressed In Scandally Clad Clothes Deserved To Be Raped

Rio de Janeiro - In Brazil, the land of mini bikinis and voluptuous carnival dancers, most people say a woman who shows off her body deserves to be raped, according to a poll that has triggered outrage. Of the 3,810 respondents of both sexes who responded to the government’s Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA) survey released this week, about 2,480 — 65 percent — justified raping women who wear “clothing that shows off the body.” And 58.5 percent of respondents also agreed that “if women knew how to behave, there would be fewer rapes.” Most of the May-June poll’s respondents — 66.5 percent — were women.

Brazil representing itself beautifully again before the World Cup this Summer. As if the 10% of the population living off of less than $2 a day wasn’t prideful enough (that’s American dinero, not Canadian, which sadly would currently make it worth more). But this is as hypocritical as it gets. Imagined everyone in the land of Brazil being aggressively naked anyways. We see the titties on Telemundo here in America. I don’t care if it’s Mexican TV and they’re speaking Spanish, it’s close enough. Plus there’s the naked beaches and the blessed Miss Bum Bum competition. Suppose everyone at Carinval deserves to have the Portuguese Polar Express run through them. The real question is how outright disgusting are some of the 66.5% of women who actually answered this way in the survey. The jealous beasts should be herded together and sent on a trip to Belize.

But what’s really messed up is even if you think this (which you shouldn’t) there’s no way you should admit it. Kind of like making a joke saying you never condone rape, but if she’s a size 6 wearing skinny jeans, she kind of deserves it. Nobody is that ignorant.
