I Hired An Actor For Barstool Idol To Pitch Ideas We've Already Done And The Big Brain Got PUNKED
Pres Got GOT! Pres Got GOT! So as the story goes, during the first Barstool Idol a gentleman had a grand ol’ idea of sending someone from the Cracker factory to a Black Barbershop for a video. El Presidente ate it up with a spoon. Thought it was a “Bananas” idea for content. There’s only one issue…I did that motherfucking video two years ago. And it was to essentially universal praise, no less. So it got me thinking, what other ideas and content went under that big nose from over the years? I decided to hire local stand up comedian/actor (same damn thing in this city) Blake Rice to find out and, boy oh boy, did we find out. It’s simply amazing Blake got approved because, and I quote of Pageviews, “I don’t like you, but I like your ideas”. BANANAS.
Let’s go through the ideas brick by brick (Obviously there’s a lot of my stuff in here because I KNEW Pres would miss them. I asked around the office and it’s tough to find content/ideas where we were 100% he wouldn’t catch on. Sure, I could’ve had Blake pitch to “Save Detroit” or “Make a Bachelorette Audition video”, but that would’ve been too obvious).
Try to punch out a MMA fighter and Drunk Wonderlic to beat Vince Young’s score?
