A generation removed from his days setting the Dolphins' franchise record for 1,853 rushing yards in 2002 and his Heisman Trophy in 1998, history has proven Ricky Williams to be a trailblazer, as cannabis legalization has become common in many states with many former players advocating its use and benefits in dealing with the pains associated with football injuries, without the inherent risks from opiods.
