Tank Cooks Beef Empanadas
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
taco seasoning w 3/4 cup of water
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup shredded cheese
One refrigerated piecrust
Directions
Preheat oven to 425F. Coat the baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning; remove from heat. Add raisins and cheese. Set aside. Unfold one crust at a time. Cut into quarters. Place ground beef mixture in the pie crust. Fold into a pocket. Press edges with fork tines to seal. Repeat with remaining filling and crust quarters, and brush with melted butter. Place on baking sheet. Bake for 15 -20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
