I Finally Shot My First Deer of the Season!

Usually right off the bat I wouldn't hesitate to shoot a doe that comes into range early season. Mainly because I have the goal to shoot 2 to 3 each season so I have enough meat to last me throughout the year. However, this season I have become much more patient. During the rut I tend to completely avoid harvesting mature does because you never know what big buck is tailing behind her. As November approached and a big Barron deer stepped out alone I decided to let me arrow eat!
