We never know what kind of deep team secrets might be unearthed each week on Spittin' Chiclets. Like, for example, finding out that the back-to-back Stanley Cup champions go into full PITCH PERFECT mode---in the hopper---before their games, was certainly a revelation. The funniest part is how they have to give the heads-up to a gritty veteran D-man that gets traded to the Gulf at the deadline. "Don't mind the riff-off, they're just getting into game mode."
Killer also told us that he had a rod inserted into his leg for the sole purpose of coming back to play in Games 6 & 7 if necessary. Like, it wasn't something that was going to get done eventually; it was done to get him back into the line-up. But he wasn't the only one who suffered an injury...
