Interviewing Anders Osborne, One of my NOLA Music Heroes
A few weeks ago, I was down in New Orleans to host Hogs For the Cause, a world class BBQ and music festival that raised a WHOPPING 2.8 million dollars for families fighting pediatric brain cancer! While I was there, I got the chance to interview one of my favorite NOLA musicians Anders Osborne and also introduced him for his set at the festival! I have seen him over 20 times and his Christmas Jam at Tipitina’s the famous NOLA music venue is one of my favorite yearly events. We talked about getting back on the road after COVID, his favorite places to play and life on the road.
Anders Osborne will be playing in New York on October 5th at the Beacon Theatre with Tedeschi Trucks Band. I plan on supporting all the New Orleans musicians when they come play in New York and hope to hang out with Stoolies at the shows.
