68 entered. 16 remain. The opening weekend of the 2021 NCAA Tournament is officially complete, and the Sweet 16 is ready to go. On Monday (it was very weird having it on Monday), the left side of the bracket went to work and there was a lot of chalk. Here is what we broke down on today's Beating the Buzzer presented by High Noon Hard Seltzer:

- (5) Creighton moves on after beating (13) Ohio

- (6) USC blows out (3) Kansas

- (7) Oregon upsets (2) Iowa in a shootout

- (1) Michigan grinds out a win over (8) LSU

- (4) Florida State's defense shows up against (5) Colorado

- (11) UCLA ends the Cinderella run from (14) Abilene Christian

- (2) Alabama shoots its way to victory over (10) Maryland
