Beer Brats | The Quarantine Cook
INGREDIENTS
-Bratwursts & buns
-Beer
-2 Bell Peppers
-1 yellow onion
-1 Tbsp butter
-Salt & pepper
METHOD
-Thinly slice onions and peppers
-Place a pot on med-high heat, add butter then onions and peppers
-Generously season w/ salt and pepper
-Sautee onions and peppers for around 3 mins or until onions turn translucent & peppers soften
-Place bratwursts on top of onions & peppers and pour over beer until brats are covered
-Bring beer to boil then reduce to simmer for 12 minutes
-Remove brats from pot and place on a hot grill to char for 2 mins
-While brats are on the grill place pot back on the heat on high and cook until beer is reduced completely and you are left with sticky onions and peppers
-Take brats off grill and top with onions and peppers
