Riggs vs Cape Wickham, 9th Hole (King Island, Australia)
Cape Wickham is a place I never knew existed. How would I? It’s over 10,000 miles away from home on the literal other side of the globe. It’s not even on Australia. It’s on King Island, which is a tiny island south of mainland Australia and just northwest of Tasmania.
And it is spectacular. A recent 2016 design, it plays linksy and has ocean views on every single hole. And that lighthouse. Who doesn’t love a good lighthouse?
If you ever head anywhere near the south pacific, do whatever you have to do to add King Island’s Cape Wickham to the itinerary. You will NEVER want to leave.
