I Just Got To Ask Conor McGregor A Question During Media Day
Tell ya what - nothing prepares you for the moment when you have a UFC microphone in-hand and are next up to ask Conor McGregor a question. Sure, I've met Conor once before, and I've spoken back and forth with his team for years now, but I have never actually had the opportunity to ask him a question like this, and especially as part of an official fight-week media day.Â
Trying to come up with something to ask him in this sorta awkward setting was tricky, considering I knew it'd probably be a one-and-done (and I didn't wanna rehash anything that's been brought up a hundred times this week), so I went with a real casual chill question for the Notorious, and I think he appreciated it. I hope!
My knees were weak, my palms were sweaty, and my heart was beating so preposterously fast you would've thought I ate too many edibles again, but I got through it, and got some fresh material outta the Champ Champ in the process. Been a hell of a fight week already.
