The second course finished at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is Pacific Dunes, a 2001 Tom Doak design. My friend LinksGems considers this the best publicly-accessible golf course in America. It's not hard to see why.
Bandon Dunes I say is the best golf destination I've been to, because it flaunts Pacific Dunes, Bandon Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old Macdonald, The Preserve, and The Punchbowl -- all within about a maximum 3-minute shuttle from each other. All under the same Bandon Dunes umbrella.
And they're adding the Sheep Ranch.
