The Goddamn Jets - Season 3, Episode 10 - Seeing Ghosts
The Yankees lost this weekend, so naturally the Sports Gods needed to even things out. And even things out, they did. In preposterously dramatic fashion. I mean its almost comical what transpired last night. Monday Night Football, primetime, Tom Brady and the Patriots…and the Jets turned in The Buttfumble 2.0. I was live and in the flesh, down on the field, and with Feitelberg sitting next to me laughing it up all night. Its one of those games where I think I’m actually on the Truman Show. Like that couldnt possibly be real last night. Just look at Sam Darnold’s stat line last night:
Thats not real life. The number of turnovers and the frequency was not real life. The fireworks and the chants from the crowd…not real life. The whole thing, not real life. And yet at the same time, its absolutely real life. The most believable thing ever. The Jets riding high, the Pats being doubted (Specifically TOM BRADY’S OFFENSE BEING DOUBTED), Monday night, prime time…I mean of course they lose 33-0. Anybody who thought otherwise, is. AN. IDIOT.
