Riggs vs Whistling Straits 17th Hole (Kohler, Wisconsin)
Whistling Straits is the most purely spectacular golf course I’ve ever seen. It’s punishing, and they moved a ton of dirt to create something that simply was nowhere near existing before doing so, but make no mistake about it — it is SPECTACULAR.
If you’re even close to Wisconsin, Whistling is a must-play. Kohler has 4 courses and many options for both lodging and dining. Just trust me and go there and enjoy yourself.
