Barstool Outdoors Episode 3 - Alabama Noodlin'
Alabama is a fun ass place to hang out. We set off on a summer evening after barely making our Friday night flight out of LaGuardia. After landing in Atlanta and trekking a few hours across to Alabama, picking up a nice souvenir en route, it was time to Noodle. What does that consist of? Well I had an idea, but just to be safe, we enlisted the best people in the business to make sure we got it right.
Hannah Barron is the Catfish Queen of the internet. There are no two ways about it. There are a TON of imitations that have popped up in the past few years but at the top of the mountain there is only one girl. She is a stud and the realest deal there is. The reason she is so legit has a lot to do with her dad, Jeff, who is absolutely unreal as well. They are two of the most legitimate Outdoors people I’ve ever met and deserve all of the attention they get online for their adventures.
This method of fishing is such a unique experience I absolutely love it. You really FEEL the fish and feel like one of our ancestors using your bare hands to produce a live animal. It is intimate hand to hand combat against a beast that is in its natural habitat and does not want to leave. A day spent Noodling is a day well spent in my opinion and I cannot wait to get back down there and do it again.
