Honestly one of the more intriguing and inspiring stories I’ve seen in our RNR history. Unlike our 6 Main Events this fight isn’t about anybody inside the ring. Nick is fighting against that voice of doubt who creeps from within. To show why he lifted all those damn weights inch by inch in his back injury rehab. To motivate anyone out there who doesn’t think they can manage to take one more step. To thank his family and friends for their dedication to him and prove the past 2 years of hard work absolutely paid off. It doesn’t even matter who he’s fighting, Nick wins this match the second he walks into the ring.
But you better believe I’m rooting for a 1st round KO on top of it too. Might be getting dusty in Lexington tomorrow night.
