The Romantic Story Of How Uncle Chaps Met His Wife Because He Was Her Sunday School Teacher
So as we teased last week, we had our first #UncleChaps bomb dropped on The Podfathers when he casually mentioned that he first met his wife when he was her Sunday school teacher. Sure a guy marrying a girl he met when he was 18 and she was 13 is a tale as old as time down in Florida. But hearing it packaged that way from our former preacher man bearded beauty was a shocker.
But this is why we love Chaps. He is an onion filled with layers (and diarrhea and whiskey). You don’t become one of the funniest, most ridiculous dudes on Twitter by having a boring ass life. And while Chaps’ love story may seem different at first blush, it still hits many of the checkpoints that people went through in the 2000s. What may or may not have been flirting on AIM, an absolutely reckless slide into Facebook DMs and a girl falling for the charms of a handsome ass man.
