Everything You Need To Know About The Let Them Play Classic

Quick rundown. Earlier this week, NCAA officials made the bizarre decision to cancel regionals in Baton Rouge because of rain and standing water on the course, calling it "playable, but not at a championship level."

This led to a ton of outrage from, not only the women who were suppose to participate in the tournament, but a ton of golf reporters & major sports media companies. Fast forward to last Thursday. Riggs announces the idea to invite the teams unable to participate in the NCAA tournament to another tournament, put on by Barstool. Naturally, this got a TON of positive response.

Over the weekend, we got to work. Teams started committing to show up, we locked in a course, sponsors starting lining up to help pay for tournament & player costs, and we worked out legal regulations and rules to make this thing happen. The NCAA approved their players to compete in the tournament, and here we are. And just like that, the Let Them Play Classic was created!  Horrible day for the Brst*l haters.

That brings us to today's episode. We have 3 women from Oregon State on the pod to talk about what it was like to have their very last tournament stripped away from them at the last minute, and then then the excitement around being able to compete in the Barstool LTP Classic.  Obviously we had to get Riggs on the pod as well. He talks through how working on this gave him one of the busiest days of his life, and everything that goes into putting on a tournament in a matter of days.
