Adam Morrison Explains Whether or Not He Is Over Gonzaga’s 2006 Sweet 16 Loss to UCLA

On today's episode of the Barstool Bench Mob... Adam Morrison! One of the best to ever do it when it comes to college basketball came into HQ this week to discuss plenty of different topics with us on today's show, including playing with Kobe and winning a pair of rings with the Lakers, the state of Gonzaga basketball, and much more. Of course, most fans already know how Morrison's storied career with the Bulldogs came to an end...

I said it in the tweet, but I'll reiterate it again: that is a CLASSIC NCAA Tournament game. The blue blood that is UCLA, the small school out of Washington in Gonzaga, and the player of the year in all of college hoops in Adam Morrison. So now, the question is... when did the two-time NBA Champion "get over" that game, if at all? He answered our question on today's show:

They often say time heals all wounds. And while that may be true, this is one of those moments that seems like it will always be in the back of your head. Coincidentally, Gonzaga got their revenge for that game 15 years ago just last month, when Jalen Suggs hit one of the craziest shots in March Madness history to send the Morrison's alma mater to the 2021 NCAA Tournament Championship Game.

Ironically, Adam Morrison was court side for that game, while on the call for Gonzaga radio via Learfield IMG College. What an insane moment.
