Paris Hilton Says the Famous “Stop Being Poor” Shirt Was Actually... Photoshopped
A major pop culture moment has been ripped away from us. In 2005, we all thought Paris Hilton went out wearing a white tank that said “STOP BEING POOR.” Iconic. Only a person as rich as Paris Hilton and who partied as hard as Paris Hilton could go out wearing a shirt like that. Well...Paris herself has told us all we have been living a lie.
Stop being desperate?!? It is obviously still an amazing shirt but just doesn’t do it like stop being poor does. So obnoxious you can only laugh. Not going to lie...I wish Paris just kept this one in the fault. It definitely won’t stop the “stop being poor” memes though.
