EMERGENCY WE GOTTA BELIEVE: Mickey Callaway Is Fired And The Mets Need A Manager

After a day of gathering our thoughts, we dive into the Mets firing of Mickey Callaway. From the flight to Florida, to the Brodie conference call, to the list of candidates as well as all of the many boneheaad decisions that got Mickey fired. And after all that time, we are just left with more questions than answers. The team’s future is up in the air and this has now become Brodie’s biggest decision of his tenure, which terrifies us way more than it should.

The team’s got all offseason not to screw it up, but let’s be honest, it probably doesn’t matter because they are still run by Jeff Wilpon. In the mean time, we gotta believe the Twins will stomp out the Yankees’ postseason hopes cause that’s all we’ve got left!
