PUTY’S WORLD CUP PODCAST – Readying for R16 with Big Cat & Big Mc(Afee)

Hi haters™ (and a big hello to jogo bonito lovers),

Wow. That last round of group stage games was FIRE.

Spain and Portugal snaked it til they (barely) made it. Croatia dropping bows while Argentina dropped a big fat deuce (but limped ahead anyway). Germany imploded for the first time in 80 years (they were apparently a little too busy invading Czechoslovakia and touching off World War II to worry much about soccer at the time) and Mexico fell back-asswards into the knockouts. Colombia lost James but won all-important advancement while Senegal lost out to Japan because the Africans were too naughty.

As a result of all the craziness, the brackets are now set.

Are the two sides of the bracket a little uneven? Meh, maybe, but that just means more drama will be spread throughout the tournament starting NOW rather than a round or two later. Bad for some of the favorites, good for you and me. Honestly, if you aren’t peeing yourself with excitement for the Round of 16 at this point there is something seriously wrong with your brain.

Wanna to learn a little more about how we got here and what to expect in the Round of 16 (and beyond)? Got a burning desire for some of that goodgood soccer content to help scratch the itch of World Cup withdrawal on the first off day of the tournament?

Wellllllllllllllllllllllll buddy, you are in luck because the latest edition of PUTY’S WORLD CUP PODCAST just dropped featuring some of the biggest brains on the interwebs – notably Daniel “Big Cat Katz and Mr. Patrick McAfee Esq. – as we discuss everything you need to know about the tournament and (literally) nothing you don’t.

As if you need any more reason to give it a listen, might I remind you that this is the one and only World Cup podcast officially sanctioned by Barstool SPORTS and unofficially authorized by President Puty himself.
